AGENCY DISCOUNT
15% of gross billing allowed to recognized advertising agencies; no discount on mechanical changes.  In-house advertising departments are not eligible for the agency discount.  Agency insertions/ purchase orders on behalf of advertiser must be received by closing date in order to apply for agency discount.  Agency discount may not be offered in conjunction with promotional or other special discounts.
TERMS
1. Advertising in all publications of the Transformative Studies Institute is subject to editorial
approval.
2. Payment in full for advertising is due 30 days from date of invoice.  Failure by an agency to pay within the time limit will disqualify the agency from the 15% agency commission. The Publisher reserves the right to refuse any new order from delinquent advertisers or agencies and to withhold advertising for any account with an outstanding invoice beyond 90 days.
3. All production costs for typesetting or corrections will be charged to the advertiser or representing agency.
4. Individual billing at the multiple rate on contract basis only; contract must be received prior to or with the first insertion. Contracts are subject to annual rate increases. Contracts extending over more than one calendar year will be billed at contract rate in effect during each calendar year.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations or changes in orders may not be made by the advertiser or its agency after the closing date.

ADVERTISING ON THE TRANSFORMATIVE STUDIES INSTITUTE WEBSITE

An online approach is essential to outreach and marketing efforts. In response to increased demand, TSI is now offering monthly fixed ads on the primary entryways into the TSI website. By expanding or starting your online marketing program on the TSI website, you can take advantage of the rapidly increasing traffic to www.transformativestudies.org, as TSI expands its online services to members and others interested in academic activist research.

The available “properties” are:

Ads will be reformatted by TSI as needed. Send artwork, reservations (include property page and preferred month of placement), and billing address via e-mail to the Department of Publications and Membership, orders(at) transformativestudies.org.TSI Policy on Exhibits, Advertisements, and Sales: All items exhibited, advertised, and/or sold under the auspices of the Transformative Studies Institute must be of a nature that they can reasonably be considered to be (1) “tools of the trade” by activists or academic researchers; (2) of benefit to individual members (e.g., insurance offered at competitive rates because of group membership); or (3) of benefit to the TSI while insuring that individual members have adequate information regarding costs to subscribers (e.g., credit cards, a portion of whose profits go to the TSI). The character of the exhibits, advertisements, or sales is subject to the approval of the Executive Officer or her/his designee. The TSI reserves the right to refuse any application for exhibit space, advertising, or sales, and to curtail or cancel any such exhibit, advertisement, or sale which, in the sole judgment of the Executive Officer, does not conform to these guidelines. This policy applies to unacceptable displays, advertisements, or sales of novelties and souvenirs, as well as the personal conduct of exhibits or their representatives.
